Friends,
If you’re feeling a little bit clunky and a little bit crunchy — try not to worry about it too much. Such is the transitional space from Pisces to Aries (beginning March 19th), water to fire, soft to swift, and a rush of newness to your doorstep. We are just under ten days out from the full moon on March 25th. Life, commitments, events, and tasks are beginning to pile up. Mercury, our dear and darling planet of communication, will station retrograde on April 1st until the 25th.
A few things I try to remember as I gear up for this particular season —
*hit save a lot. email yourself.
*ask: are you forcing this or constructively working this out?
*what’s the rush?
*see friends, seek their trusted opinions.
*allow ample time to print. (&&double check that ur rlly ready to print!)
*where’s this person coming from? like, truly, coming from.
*is this meant for me, or should it be directed to a better inbox?
*remove inconsistency. it’s poison to productivity.
*you don’t need the cloudiness of gossip at this time.
*srsly, what’s the rush?
The Tea Party of your DREAMS
Attention! Attention, NYC! I could not be more excited to share that a wonderful friend of mine has launched a new company, March Hare Events, which will deliver the quintessential high tea experience directly to your home, complete with homemade tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts, for any and all special occasions.
Check out the story highlight on their Instagram for a peek at the stunning table decor, including but not limited to: a porcelain duck teapot, bow-adorned candlesticks, and delectable treats and sandwiches like the tv food you always wished you could eat. Find your excuse to book the tea party of your dreams.
Contact Amanda, here. (And invite me!!!)
Briefly breaking my silence on S6 of Love is Blind
Jimmy, The Thumb. JerAmey. Trevor - who apparently spoke candidly about the followers, clout, and lifestyle that LIB would soon afford him IN THE PODS (Nick Lachey punching down at him was weird and uncomfortable and I guess probably necessary?? but considering Lachey is an OG clout chaser, I’d rather have the footage of Trevor showing his hand) that we did not see.
AD, the queen, who needs to always remember how bright she is!! continued to speak only in truths. Chelsea, not as much of a drunken insecure maniac as I thought because The Thumb was indeed, the gaslighter we all thought he was. (I will also die on the hill that she does adjacently look like Megan Fox. Haters, I bet you saw the dress as gold/white.)
Proud of Jessica for securing a financial future for her and her daughter, Autumn, as she joins the new season of Perfect Match. Yes, Laura got her due (and maybe also needs to reflect on how she speaks to people in conversation)!! But tbh if it were me, I would’ve refused to acknowledge JerAmey/Sarah Ann’s Bath & Glitter Body Works cuz like, who cares??? They were so boring and so obvious.

Maybe I’m a sucker but it’s reasonable to me that Clay genuinely could not shake identifying himself in the shadow of his father. The moment after the wedding with his folks was excruciating — the textbook example — the way his father continues to selfishly lack the ability to see himself clearly in his relationship with Clay’s mother was so TELLING. Though, at the reunion, it was truly a delightful and hopeful moment when Clay mentioned he’d like to emulate the ways Brett (Season 4) has set a standard for relationships. I root for this positive masculinity, though don’t necessarily think AD should hand out second chances.
Now can we please get a queer season of Love is Blind!!!! We deserve it!!
The Program
This new docuseries is a RIDE, absolutely worth your time, and quite well done by director and previous program student/victim, Katherine Kubler.
A new FAQ about The Double Text is coming but first I must share the Lizzie McGuire’d version of myself, created by artist Annie Winerip.
Yes, she takes commissions. Get in touch with her here.
